What it is
Only prophets and apostles, from collections outside Gospel Library.
Gospel Library carries General Conference from 1971 on. Heed the Prophets gathers older talks and plays them like a podcast, with a queue, playback speeds, and a check mark for each talk you finish.
Prophets and apostles only
Every talk was given while the speaker served as an apostle, in the First Presidency, or as President of the Church.
Beyond Gospel Library
The Journal of Discourses today, with older General Conference sessions and BYU devotionals planned.
Free, with nothing collected
No ads, no accounts, no tracking. Your progress stays on your own device.

The app is the best way to listen: it keeps playing from talk to talk with the screen locked, and keeps your place safely. Until it’s out, the web player works today on any phone or computer.
In your browser
Any phone or computer, with nothing to download. Add it to your Home Screen to open it like an app.

On iPhone, listen from your Home Screen. Safari can clear saved progress for sites you haven’t opened in a week. Opening the player from your Home Screen avoids that. It keeps its own progress, apart from Safari’s, so bring yours over with Export progress and Import progress at the bottom of the player.
Put the player on your Home Screen
It opens straight to the talks, in its own window, with the Heed the Prophets icon. It’s still the web player, so the Browser column above applies. Chrome and Edge on a computer can install it too, from the browser’s menu.
iPhone and iPad
- Open the player in Safari.
- Tap Share (on iOS 26, tap ⋯ first), then Add to Home Screen. Scroll down if you don’t see it.
- If Open as Web App is there, leave it on. Tap Add.
Android
- Open the player in Chrome.
- Tap ⋮, then Add to home screen (on some phones, Install app).
- Tap Install.
Prefer your own files? Every narrated talk can be downloaded as an MP3, free. In the player, use the download button beside any talk.
